A few words for Noah James...

Noah baby. You talk yourself through everything. You eat your 8 to 10 oz. of formula and grunt and ramble on at the same time, as you look into my eyes and help me hold your bottle. Sometimes you poop and eat at the same time. This is very entertaining. You have been showing us how multi-talented you really are. For example, you peed WITH your clamp on you, during your circumcision. Haha, doctor Alberta was genuinely impressed. You are freakishly strong. You came out of the womb and they put you on my chest and the first thing you did was lift your head up and look around! We have it on video!! I knew right then that we would have our hands full. :) Your nails always seem to find a way to grow back very quickly, no matter how much I trim them. This was a problem a while ago because you would scratch your face when you went to rub your eyes before you feel asleep. Therefore I was always putting your mittens on. The mitten-wearing stopped when I took them off after a warm day and your hands were sweaty and stinky. I didn't like this. Plus I didn't want your hands to get stuck in a certain position. Haha. You talk in your sleep... sometimes you sing in your sleep... okay you often sing in your sleep. :) You are now 2 months and 26 days old and in size 9-12 months clothing! You are solid. Chubby cheeks, big blue eyes (like Ma,) big lips (like pa,) double chin, small cute nose, and blonde blonde hair and eyebrows! You laugh and smile when we smile and talk to you like a baby. I ask you if you know you're the cutest boy in the world and you smile at me. Sometimes a side smile. Love the side smile! You are now officially ticklish under your chin. You seriously chortle like crazy when we get under those chins of yours and wiggle our fingers. It is soo heartwarming. You are the most precious thing I've ever seen and I get to call you my baby. <3 Noah James, we love you more than we can express. :) Keep showing us who you are.

Mama's cub! :)

Noah baby is all decked out in his cute, little bear outfit! Mama's cub! :) Wow I couldn't even believe how old he looked when I took these pics. This boy is changing every day and I am soo grateful to be able to hold him and snuggle him whenever I WANT!! hehhee! He's our little blue-eyed chunker! :D I am starting to pray more and more for me to be able to love him to the fullest. These moments in his life are really going to shape who he is and we hold SO much responsibility in that! We are to help mold and shape him through the help of God and I am realizing how much of a sponge he is these days. He can't talk, obviously, but he sure does know who mama and daddy are. :) He sure does love us too. Today, I'm lookin forward to the years of love I have comin!! :D

It's fun to grow up! Cherish the moments!

Our little honey muffin is growing up RIGHT BEFORE OUR EYES!! Ahaa. Yes I know that's what they all say, but it's amazingly true. I laid him down in his bassinet and he was only a couple inches shorter than it's length! He needs a crib ASAP!! Ahh I love it. I was talking to Grampa and told him the story and Noah said, "Ohh." ha gotta love his timing! Cracks me up. I love being a mommy. It's definitely not always easy, but it's soo much fun. I went for a run the other day and when I came back I felt like I had been gone for a long time and I missed my boys. Not to mention I came home to a spotless house (thank you husband.) :D Oh, and Noah wont. stop. eating! haha he can chug 4 oz. of formula in probably less than a minute... maybe two. I have to yank the bottle out of his mouth to make him breathe more!! lol. Then he's ready for the next before I can burp him! When he burps though... they are man burps! Soo loud. It's crazy. :) You're quite the boy, Noah J.C. Well I'm gonna go try to sleep before he wakes up "starving." Lots of love to you all!

The arrival, at last!

Well, he's here!! :) This is our Noah James. Born 9 pounds 12 oz. on 2-1-2011, at 1:11 pm!! We couldn't be more grateful for our beautiful, healthy BIG baby boy. He's now one month old and currently napping on our bed. Ha. During the day he LOVES to lay on our bed so that he can look around and "talk" to us. He stares and coo's and it's just so amazing. The other day I was holding him after feeding him and he got a couple gassy smiles, so I grabbed my camera and said "Noah James... can you smile?" and he looked up and smiled the above smile just in time for me to take the pic!! It was the best feeling!!! I can't wait to know him and connect with him more and watch him develop. He's already changed SO MUCH it's surreal! He is so strong. He came out of the womb and they put him on my chest and he literally lifted his head up and looked around!! We have it on video! ha. Oh and at two weeks old, he rolled half way over. He's our little Scandanavian babehh. :) Starting our family has definitely been quite the journey. I have learned that good motherhood doesn't come with just a baby. It starts with being content that life isn't all about what I want to do, anymore. It's obviously about what God wants, but next to that comes my husband and child's needs. I am entering the most selfless lifestyle one could ever imagine and that, to me, can be a difficult yet beautiful transition. All I can do is cling to God and my loved ones and hold on for the ride!! I look forward to this challenge. :) :) So FUN!

Ready. To. POP!

Okay people, I am now 38 weeks pregnant and ready to have this baby!! We've gotten married, went to Hawaii for our honeymoon, created our home, created Noah's nursery, packed the hospital and diaper bag, and had our first Christmas and New Years together!! Time sure has flown and we have been so blessed throughout the past year. There are no words. These days, I sit in our home and think about the future and pray to be as amazing of a mother as my mama is and has been. She has set the bar and I must thank God for blessing me with her. I'm ready to be the most commited mother and wife I could be. I'm ready to have this boy and be pushed and challenged every day. I'm ready to face each day as it comes and trust in the Lord to be my strength. He has blessed me with my amazing husband... a man I can rely on, trust, love, cherish, and spend each day with as we enter the world of parenthood together. Wow... life is incredible!! :) Loove it. Guess that's all for now! Lots of love!!

Our new home & first Christmas!

Merry Christmas, loved ones!! It's my favorite time of the year, and I have decided to update the blog! :) Larry and I are all moved into our new house! It's an older, cozy 2 bedroom in Marysville with a pear tree and an apple tree in the front yard. Pretty good sized yard with a small old garage at the end of the driveway. Larry and a couple of his boys completely re-did the kitchen floors! They have transformed from nasty puke-yellow 60's lenolium to amazing clean, BEAUTIFUL oak hardwood floors with white trim. :) It turned out WAY better than I had even expected. We painted the whole kitchen, livingroom, bathroom and baby Noah's room, so that it will be ready for him when he enters this world. :) In the past few weeks the house has gone from musty smelling, dirty walls, gross floors, little bit of mold, and lots of potential, to a freshly painted, cleaned, de-humidified, scrubbed down, and renovated home filled with love. I have a ways to go on decorating, but the high ceilings provide huge potential for creative decor. I'm pumped!

We got our Christmas tree! There are some presents underneath and we decorated it with traditional colored lights, ornaments, and candycanes. We are excited for our first Christmas together! :D Here's the tree when we first put it up. . .

Here's a pic of the painting process of our hot pink bathroom with black and zebra theme! :) Thanks for being a trooper Babe. ;) Love you.
