CRIB CRIB CRIB!! :D

NOAH... in a way, it was a challenge for me to move you out of your adorable bassinette and into your crib. The words, "they grow up soo fast" hit me like a ton of bricks! I knew it was right though. You were always trying to sprawl out and then you got frustrated when your hands and feet hit the sides of the bassinette. Your energy said, "GET ME OUTTA here." The first night you were in your crib, we put you down for sleep and when we went to check on you, you were clear up to the top end of the mattress!! Haahha. You had scooted your little way up there the first chance you got, and now we call you "Scooter." :) You absolutely loooove to move. You love to watch me dance. You put on your "focus face" (mouth in a "O" shape, and eyes wide,) and kick and swirl your arms and legs around... really hard. Haha. It is sooo precious. Today you literally cracked up every time I said "did you doo-doo?" Anyway, back to the crib. When we go in to wake you up in the mornings, you are on your back with your arms up by your head, and you're facing the crib bumper. You hear us talk and start smiling before you even turn to look. It warms our hearts SO much Noah, you have no idea! You know your mama and papa. :) We have been working on sleep training. I guess you could call it "working." In other words, when you're hungry, you tell us. When you're tired you show it. When we clean you and feed you and you're clearly sleepy, we lay you down in your big boy crib and you fall asleep so well honey bunch. Not much to work on! You are such an incredible child. We love you buddha babyy! :) :)

TRIBUTE to the GRANDPARENTS!

Great-Grandmother!! Her first Great-Grand-baby! We love her SO much and are honored!

It's amazing to me, how God made it so that our memories begin when we are 2-5 years old. I always wondered why, and lately I have a newfound theory on the topic. I have always considered my Grandparents my "amazing grandparents"... on both sides of the family, but ever since Noah has been born, I have had the opportunity to see mine and Larry's parents as grandparents. This is one of the greatest gifts I have received. I get to witness my parents love and care for Noah, during the first months of his life, and seeing that, shows me how they were with me when I was his age. It is SO FUN and beautiful to see them running around the house together, gathering what he needs in the moment. A bottle... a new diaper, a few good laughs, some good kicking for exercise. They get all wound up and follow each other around, leaving their trails behind, making little messes. "It's been a while!" They say after I call them out on their trails of blankets and diapers and onesies and pick up after them. Haha. I can see their unique love for each other as they work together to meet Noah's needs. It warms my heart and gives me confidence in the future of the young deep love Larry and I have for each other. I also get to witness how Angie loved and nurtured her son (my husband) making him the man he is today. It is an

AMAZING

part of the circle of life. This woman is the most independent woman I have ever met. She has raised 7 kids with love and is one of the most selfless mothers I know. This makes it very relaxing and easy to be real around her. I feel like I can truly be myself and I am so blessed to have her as a mother-in-law. She accepted me into the family with ease and has showed me nothing but love and comfort... support and advice. Lots and lots of advice. :) Thank you, Angie, for welcoming me into your family with open arms. She is always putting her children's needs before hers, even when it's clearly not easy. One thing I respect about Angie is that she tells it like it is. I love this about Larry as well and I see where he gets it. I value honesty and she is very blunt and strait-forward, yet understanding and sensitive to other peoples feelings at the same time. The woman has been through more than I could imagine and her perseverance is admirable, while her strength shows through her character. She cherishes babies. She loves Noah with a passion and puts him first. She is a selfless mother and Grandma! She gives our boy undivided love and attention and doesn't hesitate to give us a break every now and then and nurture Noah James during the night. Being able to witness the womanhood of my husband's mother has been a beautiful experience, and I look forward to the future. I hope it brings more truth, growth, love, and connection.

POD in the Sink! :)

So, the other day I fed and changed Noah, then put him down in his little chair so he could sit and hang out while I got ready. He fussed when I put him down, and stopped when I picked him up.

This cycle repeated all five times I tried.

I then decided to make him a little pod in the sink so that he could be up close to me, and I could still get ready for the day. It worked! He loved it and stared at me in awe the whole time! :) Love it! Oh and thank you to Ally for the cute sleeveless gown! He's quite cozy in it!

A Blessed Easter ~

Easter flower love from my lovaaa. Number 1!! :)

EASTER LOVE!! :D We took Noah to the Easter bunny for the first time in his life the other day! They took quite a few different shots and he looked sleepy then he decided to perk his chin on his hand for the last one! Haha it was adorable. We're not lookin too hot, but Bubbles is lookin precious! :) Easter day was great. We woke up at Great-Grandmother's house, (thanks mama and bro bro for watching him!) and he was sound asleep. The last thing I wanted to do was wake him up and strap him in his car seat. Sooo babe and I went to church alone and baby-love stayed home with Gramma Tutu. Church was packed to the brim, but somehow everyone had a seat. Funny how God made that work. :) The kids were sooo cute in their little easter outfits. The food looked amazing. Note to everyone: NEVER GO ON A DIET DURING EASTER. Ahhh. Haha, it was quite a challenging day! I'm surprised I stayed strong, especially during Grampa's home-made breakfast!! :( I did, however, get to feast on fresh Kiwi's and strawberries and hard boiled eggs!! :) Numm! Anyway, the day went on and we all socialized, and feasted and enjoyed our family time together. I took some extra time to respect and meditate on the Resurrection when we got home. Jesus went through crusifiction that I can't even wrap my head around and I am eternally grateful for the love of God, and guidance I receive from the Holy Spirit. Thank you Jesus. :) Cheers to our ability to open our hearts and be humbled in the name of God! We are SO BLESSED. Amen. :) Loooove!!

A few words for Noah James...

Noah baby. You talk yourself through everything. You eat your 8 to 10 oz. of formula and grunt and ramble on at the same time, as you look into my eyes and help me hold your bottle. Sometimes you poop and eat at the same time. This is very entertaining. You have been showing us how multi-talented you really are. For example, you peed WITH your clamp on you, during your circumcision. Haha, doctor Alberta was genuinely impressed. You are freakishly strong. You came out of the womb and they put you on my chest and the first thing you did was lift your head up and look around! We have it on video!! I knew right then that we would have our hands full. :) Your nails always seem to find a way to grow back very quickly, no matter how much I trim them. This was a problem a while ago because you would scratch your face when you went to rub your eyes before you feel asleep. Therefore I was always putting your mittens on. The mitten-wearing stopped when I took them off after a warm day and your hands were sweaty and stinky. I didn't like this. Plus I didn't want your hands to get stuck in a certain position. Haha. You talk in your sleep... sometimes you sing in your sleep... okay you often sing in your sleep. :) You are now 2 months and 26 days old and in size 9-12 months clothing! You are solid. Chubby cheeks, big blue eyes (like Ma,) big lips (like pa,) double chin, small cute nose, and blonde blonde hair and eyebrows! You laugh and smile when we smile and talk to you like a baby. I ask you if you know you're the cutest boy in the world and you smile at me. Sometimes a side smile. Love the side smile! You are now officially ticklish under your chin. You seriously chortle like crazy when we get under those chins of yours and wiggle our fingers. It is soo heartwarming. You are the most precious thing I've ever seen and I get to call you my baby. <3 Noah James, we love you more than we can express. :) Keep showing us who you are.

Mama's cub! :)

Noah baby is all decked out in his cute, little bear outfit! Mama's cub! :) Wow I couldn't even believe how old he looked when I took these pics. This boy is changing every day and I am soo grateful to be able to hold him and snuggle him whenever I WANT!! hehhee! He's our little blue-eyed chunker! :D I am starting to pray more and more for me to be able to love him to the fullest. These moments in his life are really going to shape who he is and we hold SO much responsibility in that! We are to help mold and shape him through the help of God and I am realizing how much of a sponge he is these days. He can't talk, obviously, but he sure does know who mama and daddy are. :) He sure does love us too. Today, I'm lookin forward to the years of love I have comin!! :D

CUTEST onesie!! :)

Baby boy is in size 12 MONTHS TODAY!! Twelllllve monnnnnnnnnths! He's two months old, mind you! HA! What a big boy. We went shopping at Children's Place and we bought him the CUTEST onesie. (See photo) :) GOTTA LOVE MOTHERHOOD!! :D
